Magnolia, our dog, is scheduled to be spayed on February 21 at Ohio State. Because of her breathing issues, she requires an anesthesiologist for the procedure ( this is not a option ). The veterinarians at Ohio State recommend a laparoscopic spay, and the estimated total cost—including the pre-surgical examination, anesthesiologist, and surgery—ranges from $3,000 to $5,000. She will also need to stay in the hospital for two nights.
Several of you have reached out asking how you can help, so we’ve started a GoFundMe to make that possible!
