Donate for Miss Lucille Francine's Tumor Removal

Lucille Francine- aka Lucy, LuLu, Lu-bird, Goosey, Goose-Goose- has been changing my life for the better since 2013. The Lord has taught me some of my biggest lessons of unconditional love, grace and selflessness through this angelic creature.

Two months ago, we went in for a routine teeth cleaning and, long story short, after doing an X-ray, the vet found a tumor in her left lung lobe. This comes one year after my father was diagnosed with a tumor in his lung. My dad was unfortunately not healthy enough to undergo surgery, but thankfully, Lucy is, and so today, she will have a lobectomy to remove the mass and investigate other nodules they found in her lung. As you can imagine, it’s a very scary, extensive, and expensive surgery as she will stay overnight for three nights and have 24-hour monitoring. Any help we can get through the generosity of others would be answered prayer. And if you can’t help in that way, even more powerful would be YOUR prayers. In what has already been a year of tremendous sadness, please partner with me in praying we would experience victory over this and she would have a full recovery. UPDATE 7/27 Please please please pray. Lucy is currently on an oxygen supplement (not routine) as her levels were low. She has to come off of that before we can take her home. We were meant to bring her home today so Godwilling we bring her home Tuesday providing she improves. I’m a mess.
