Donate for Luciana's Heart Warrior Journey

Hello Friends, 

It has been some time since our last Gofundme when David and I found out our beautiful Luciana had a perfectly imperfect heart, she was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). We felt such uncertainty and had no idea what the future held for our miracle baby. We are thankful to have had our amazing community support us by praying for us all and donating to our Gofundme to help with her medical bills. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU TO EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU who supported us during that scary time, and continue to.  

Two out of the three open-heart surgeries later, here we are with our beautiful 3 year-old HEART WARRIOR. She is kind, smart, and absolutely beautiful. Everything we’ve ever dreamed of and more. If you know or have ever met Luciana, you know she is pure love and brightens everyone’s day.  

Luciana has met with the Cardiothoracic Surgery Team and they feel she is ready for the last open-heart surgery, known as the Fontan Procedure. This is the last of the three palliative care surgeries to help her grow and live her best life. Again, this does not “fix” her heart, rather it will continue to give her a better quality of life to live and love. Surgery is set for the beginning of May. 

Again, we ask for your help during this time. Even with insurance coverage, medical bills for surgery will be substantial. Any little bit helps and is greatly appreciated. Our heart warrior has been through so much and yet is the happiest and most loving baby girl. Please keep Luciana in prayer as this will be different from the rest of her surgeries, she will be a lot more aware of what is going on. Pray for comfort, strength, and understanding for our Luciana. As we’ve said before, we have a long road ahead of us but our HEART WARRIOR, and her family, will fight through it.
