On Saturday, August 30th, Leah McDaniel a Northmont 2022 graduate and Varsity Softball player was involved in a devastating ATV accident that has left her with paralysis. Leah has been a caring strong individual, and her family is doing everything possible to support her during this incredibly difficult time.

Right now, Leah’s best chance at recovery and regaining independence is specialized rehabilitation at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago—a world-renowned facility for spinal cord injury treatment. Unfortunately, the costs of transport and care are significant and come at great personal expense to Leah’s family.
