My father, Larry Wilkinson, suffered a stroke early Monday morning (6/16/25) after multiple TIA’s. We rushed him to Madison County hospital Saturday afternoon (6/14/25) after he collapsed on the floor of our home. At first they were suspicious of heat exhaustion as he’d been outside in the heat the day before. However, after a CT scan, mini strokes became a major concern. The hospital opted to keep him for observation. The following Monday he had the major stroke and his right side is affected. He’s got a long road to recovery but Madison County is doing great at starting his Physical + speech therapy. My family will need help though as insurance isn’t going to cover all the continued therapy that he will require in order to recover and regain as much function as possible . He’s got a long road ahead of him & I know we will need some major help financially to get him the best care possible. Please help and if you’re unable, prayers are always welcome! Thank you!
