We are reaching out to ask for support for our strong and resilient mother, Kim, who recently faced an unimaginable challenge. Kim was rushed to the emergency room the night of Tuesday, September 24th with symptoms of migraines, nausea, and cognitive dysfunction. After several tests and scans, doctors informed her of a massive and aggressive tumor on the left side of her brain. No more than 24 hours later, she bravely underwent a complex neurological operation to remove the tumor, and though the surgery was a success, the road to recovery is long and uncertain. She has since been diagnosed with a brain cancer called Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM).

Kim is the foundation of our family. In addition to being a devoted mother, wife, sister, and daughter, she is heavily involved within our community. Whether she is donating clothes to the Veteran’s home and sober living facilities, or caring for individuals with special needs and Down syndrome, she has always been the most selfless person. In undergoing such a major surgery, Kim is unable to work, and the mounting medical bills from her surgery, treatments, and ongoing care (treatments, therapy, and essential living expenses) are growing rapidly. We want to ensure she has a therapeutic recovery process and we are asking for your generosity and help during this devastating time. Donations of any size will go directly towards covering her medical expenses, including hospital bills, medications, rehabilitation, and any treatments needed to ensure Kim can regain her health and return to an even more vibrant person than she was.
