We are deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of our dear sister Kimberly, who passed away in her sleep Thursday night. Kim was a deeply devoted mother who loved and lived for her beautiful son Liam. They were each other's everything. Thursday night, she and Liam were having a sleepover at our mom's house; it was just a normal night. When Liam woke the next morning, he knew instantly something was wrong. His mother was blue, cold, and not breathing. He tried his best to wake her up, but he couldn't. He was such a strong boy and called 911 immediately. Unfortunately, when the paramedics arrived, there was nothing they could do. She was already gone. She suffered from sleep apnea, and they said that it probably contributed to her cardiac arrest. Those who know Kimberly also know that she was the sole parent to Liam and has been doing it by herself his whole life. She always said to us, "If something ever happens to me, please take care of Liam." We always promised her that we would take him in and love him as our own, and that's exactly what we plan on doing for the rest of his life. We're trying to raise money for her final arrangements, as well as anything we can put aside to help Liam's future. Any little bit helps.
