On October 2, 2025, Kenneth Schemmer III (Ken) had a CT scan of the head followed by an MRI because he experienced a migraine with blurred vision. The MRI revealed a tumor that resembles Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM). This is the same type of tumor that his sister Abbey had. Some of you may recall that Ken battled colon cancer 10 years ago and underwent a total colectomy. He has done well since the surgery. Ken and Abbey share a genetic mutation Lynch syndrome, which predisposes them to many cancers, including colon and brain cancer. Ken and his family remain steadfast in their trust in God's plan. Ken had his surgery on October 21 at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. The doctor said the surgery went very well. He removed all of the tumor that he could see. Ken will need help with his medical deductibles and travel expenses for his treatments. If you can donate to help him, we would be grateful. We ask for your prayers for God's guidance and Ken’s healing.
