After nearly 20 years of debilitating migraines, neurological episodes, and inconclusive hospital stays, my sister Kelli is finally on the path toward answers — but she needs our help. She was recently hospitalized in the ICU for stroke symptoms during a business trip and is now headed to Cleveland Clinic in June for critical testing. We're raising funds to help cover her medical bills, travel, and ongoing care.

My name is Jen Atherley, and we're fundraising for my sister, Kelli Binette — someone who has continued to show up with grace, strength, and humor despite facing relentless health challenges over the last two decades.

But her health has taken a turn, and we need your help.

In May 2025, while on a business trip in Chicago, Kelli was suddenly hospitalized in the ICU with symptoms of an ischemic stroke. Numbness, confusion, and extreme pressure in her head came on within minutes. She received emergency treatment (TPA), but her scans were inconclusive, and her symptoms have continued: blurred vision, migraines, confusion, exhaustion, and constant pain.

Kelli’s health story goes back nearly 20 years, starting with a scuba diving accident in 2005 that triggered chronic migraines and head pressure. Since then, she’s lived with a mix of neurological symptoms — vision loss, motor function challenges, memory issues, and more — without a definitive diagnosis. She’s been through it all: emergency room visits, neurologists, chiropractors, traction therapy, and more. Despite her persistence, no one has figured out what’s going on.

Until now.

Thanks to our incredible mom, Diana Caballero, Kelli has secured an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic, one of the best neurological centers in the country. She’ll be there from June 9–12 for an intensive round of testing — the most promising step yet in uncovering the root cause of her condition and finding a path to real relief.
