Hello everyone. A dear friend of mine is battling a debilitating autoimmune disease and could really use some financial assistance to be able to travel to her doctor's office in California. Kelli has been a huge support to me over the years and I just want to ensure she has the opportunity to meet with one of the leading doctors that deals with her specific care. The disease she battles is very rare and deeply affects her. Kelli still has such a great attitude about everything in life and shows her care for others always. Please help with whatever you are able!! Kelli has written a bit to share about her illness. I will also include some photos, please be aware that some of the images are difficult to see. Elisha, thank you for putting this together for me. ❤️

If you are the praying type, prayer is just as important to me as financial provision. Please be praying that the specialist I will be meeting with is able to help me. A complete healing is the ultimate goal. ❤️

My experience with autoimmune disorders started in 2014 when I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation, hydrocephalus and Ehlers Danlos. All connected as autoimmune disorders. I had 2 corrective brain surgeries in 2014 which gave me about 80% healing.

I have been battling Eosinophilic fasciitis, bullous morphea and other autoimmune disorders since 2017. After giving birth to my youngest son, my body started breaking down quickly (hormone changes). The painful owies that are associated with EF and bullous morphea presented themselves in 2019 after nearly 2 years of invisible pain. My current dermatologist here in Madison explained Eosinophilic Fasciitis as my body being on fire from the bone outward. The bullous in bullous morphea means “blister”. You can see a representation of this in the pictures below. The wounds on my feet change daily in appearance. The pain levels hover between 7-10 depending on the day. Of course, wound dressing changes are the most painful as I need to scrub the wounds so they don’t become infected. In 2020, I was hospitalized with sepsis due to infection that had spread throughout my body. It became a very important, yet very painful, process cleaning the wounds.

I have been to Mayo Clinic twice. They were unable to help me but still are copartnering with my Madison team, as needed. I work with dermatology, rheumatology, and wound care.

Please reach out if you would like more information on any of these diseases or have any questions.

I appreciate the ability to discuss invisible (and not so invisible) illness as so many of us suffer, daily.
