Our dear friend Justin Lund was very recently diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor called a Glioblastoma. It requires surgery as part of its treatment. The goal of the surgery is to remove as much of the tumor as possible while preserving healthy brain tissue.

While being prepped for surgery Justin was still grading his students papers at Western Washington University and transferring as much of his work to his colleagues.

In the seriousness of the hospital setting he was smiling, rapping to the nursing staff, and full of quick-witted humor and gratitude.

His surgery is scheduled for November 10th and Justin, Nico, and Vega will be embracing radical joy on the road to recovery. Any contribution you can give will help support Justin recover.
