My name is Renee and as some of you may or may not know, my son has been struggling with seizures on and off the past few years. Upon continuous hospital visits and many doctor appointments, we discovered a tumor in his brain to be causing these. The copay is 7,320 and we are currently about $5,000 in medical debt as is already. This healing process could take weeks even months if he looses any motor funtions. Jay is a sweet, spunky, funny, full-of-life teenage boy who needs this surgery to live a normal life. He has had, on average, 1-3 seizures per week the past few months and we have brain surgery scheduled for the 10th of December at MUSC Sean Jenkins Children Center.
