Meet Jay Paul Basinger. For the past 18 years Jay has committed himself to helping the non-profit community by using his talents and abilities to help raise over 85 million for the various organizations that he cares for and is fully committed to serving. Just a few of those organizations include several Make a Wish chapters, National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, American Cancer Society, Big Dog Ranch Rescue, The Sharing Center, A Kids Place, A Door of Hope, The Hometown Foundation, LaTisha’s House, Keep Seminole Beautiful, The Down Syndrome Society, Camp Boggy Creek, Alex’s Lemonade Stand… He has also done many successful benefit auctions at Mar-a-Lago as well. Jay knows that he will never be wealthy, but is comfortable knowing that the charities he serves are making a difference for so many and changing the communities where they live! For 18 years we have needed Jay’s advice, his compassion, his empathy, his direction, and his passion. For the first time in 18 years … Jay needs US!!!

On Tuesday March 4, 2025, our dear friend Jay suffered a stroke. Jay was airlifted from Mercy Boardman to Mercy Main for immediate sugical intervention. Jay has been on a ventilator in ICU and was able to be weaned off Friday March 7, 2025. Jay still has a very long recovery ahead which will require rehabilitation for an unspecified period of time. Jay does not have health insurance and will have a significant amount of medical expenses. Any donation amount towards his recovery time period is greatly appreciated.
