Jasiah's Heart Healing Journey

Jasiah Davis is our 1 year old son. Many know him as Ja or Ja-Ja. He is a fireball full of energy and good spirit. He knows no stranger and loves everyone he meets. He has not let his illness dim his light.

November 6, 2024, we thought Jasiah was sick with strep or the flu, so his dad took him to urgent care. Urgent care immediately referred him to the ER because of his labored breathing. At the ER, a chest X-Ray was completed in which Jasiah had an enlarged heart and fluid in his lungs. Early morning November 7, 2024, Jasiah was transported and admitted at Levine’s Children’s Hospital in Charlotte for acute heart failure and myocarditis which occurred from a viral infection that attacked his heart. Jasiah has been and is still currently in the ICU. At this time, he is still actively recovering and doctors are hopeful for the recovery of his heart function. We are praying for a miracle and healing for our baby.

We know times are tough and funds are spread thin; however, at this time, we are asking donations to help the costs of gas driving back and forth from Morganton to Charlotte, cost of food, current bills, and future medical bills for Jasiah’s long-term ICU stay.
