Hello! My name is Chiqui Borja Herrera, and I’m reaching out with a sincere heart to ask for help during an incredibly painful and challenging time. My father, Jaime Borja, has been admitted at General Trias Doctors Medical Center (GenTri Doc) since June 16 and is currently battling multiple serious health conditions. He was diagnosed with Decompensated Heart Failure with Community-Acquired Pneumonia (moderate risk), along with Chronic Kidney Disease Stage III, secondary to Hypertensive Nephrosclerosis and Diabetes Mellitus Nephropathy. He is currently confined in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and is undergoing dialysis as part of his critical treatment.

These diagnoses have brought about a complex and costly treatment plan that includes continuous hospital care, life-supporting medications, dialysis sessions, and constant monitoring by specialists. In addition to the rising hospital bill, now at ₱409,190.77 ($7,228.27) and still increasing, we are required to cash out daily for urgently needed medicines that are not always available in the hospital pharmacy. Ama Jim is a fighter and has always been the one to help others in need. Now, we are asking for help on his behalf. This situation has been emotionally and financially challenging for our family. We’ve done everything we can to shoulder the expenses, but we are rapidly exhausting all our resources. With each passing day, the costs grow heavier, and we are left with no choice but to humbly ask for your help. Any amount you can give, no matter how small, will go directly toward my father’s medical expenses and his fight for recovery.
