Support Isreal Parra – Help Him Reclaim Dignity and Independence
Isreal Parra is a 36-year-old man who has lived in a wheelchair since 2007.
Throughout the years, he has faced life with quiet strength and determination. But recently, his health took a serious turn.
On March 28th, Isreal was hospitalized at the Medical Center of Arlington due to severe bed wounds on both of his feet. After careful evaluation, doctors made a life-saving but heartbreaking recommendation: both feet would need to be amputated.
Isreal is now adjusting to this major life change. While he will never be able to walk again, prosthetic legs can offer him a powerful sense of normalcy, confidence, and dignity. For many amputees, prosthetics are not just for mobility—they are essential to mental and emotional well-being. Being able to wear shoes, dress more independently, or simply feel more like themselves again can make a world of difference in daily life and self-esteem.
The cost of these prosthetics is $6,000, a goal that is currently out of reach for Isreal and his family. His mother has been doing everything she can to support him—working with housing programs and Social Security to secure a safe, stable home for him. But resources are limited, and she won’t be able to stay with him much longer.
We’re asking for your help. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward the cost of prosthetic legs for Isreal. Your support will help provide him not just with medical equipment—but with hope, dignity, and the chance to feel more whole again.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with others. Together, we can make a lasting impact on Isreal’s life.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
