A vibrant, loving, caring, and Godly mother and grandmother went from living an independent life to needing 24-7 care after a kidney stone turned into an abscess and caused sepsis, which led to a 113-degree fever, 2 weeks on life support, 3.5 months in the hospital, and 2 code blues. Yes, she is a walking testimony; she beat all the odds against her, and our family is truly blessed!!

She was sent to a local assisted living facility where she developed 3 more infections due to the lack of care and cleanliness, and she ended up back in the hospital. So, we have brought her home, and we are in need of help to make home modifications as necessary and to buy the equipment needed to support her. She will also be having both legs amputated from below the knee and will need prosthetics. We have multiple surgeries scheduled and have a long road of healing ahead of us!!
