Henry is a 12 year old chihuahua with seemingly a lot of life left to live. He is alert, oriented, and still his spicy self. Over the years he has gotten more stiff and weak, but about 2 weeks ago he lost function of his right arm. His weakness has progressed since, and he has now lost the ability to urinate. We have been to 3 vets this week (one emergency visit), and we are at a crossroads where he either has to have an MRI to treat what is going on in his spine or brain, or euthanize him because of his inability to urinate. He is still eating, drinking, acting like himself, and all other labs and imaging are normal, so euthanasia seems like a disservice to him. We are a single income household, and would be so grateful for any donations. An MRI is around $4k, and surgery if needed would be another 6-$8k.
