Hi everyone! My name is Kelsey Roger’s. I am Harvey’s dog mom. Harvey recently was boarded while we were on vacation. We received a call stating he was vomiting and very lethargic. They rushed Harvey to the Veterinary Emergency Group, and there it was determined that Harvey’s stomach had flipped/twisted and he was in critical condition. He was rushed into surgery immediately. We are very thankful for the boarding team at Dogs All Day who noticed this and got him there as quickly as possible. If it weren’t for them, this story would not have had the same outcome.

The emergency group was able to get Harvey’s stomach back to normal, but explained there was extensive bruising and were highly concerned with his recovery. He was and is still high risk for necrosis and infection. After three days of ups and downs, Harvey was released from the emergency vet hospital and has now been home for close to two days recovering.
