STORY : My kidney first failed in 2012 , I was on dialysis until 2016 when I got my first kidney transplant. I was doing great & working hard, but in 2021, a person I was working with went to a party & got covid . They didn't say anything & I ended up getting covid . I collapsed in front of my wife in our home , I don't remember ambulance coming , just waking up in the hospital. When I was finally got out 6 months later , my specialty doctor told me covid destroyed my transplant & I started dialysis a week later . My health is slowly going downhill . I've had bloodclots , so they need to put a dialysis line through my neck & under my collar bone to continue getting dialysis. But I still am fighting & am still working as long as I can.
