A future destroyed... and a family struggling to survive.
Donation protected
My name is Fares Salha, a 23-year-old man from war-torn northern Gaza. I was studying nursing at Al-Isra University in Gaza, dreaming of a future where I would help heal the sick and serve my community. But that dream was suddenly shattered and turned into rubble when my university was destroyed by bombing.
The occupation didn't just destroy buildings, it destroyed years of hope, education, and life itself. Today we live in unbelievable conditions. There is no food, no safety, no medicine, and fear surrounds us at every moment. I bear a responsibility far beyond my years. I am the middle son in a family of eight, and my father has a specific illness.
But my responsibilities don't end there. I also care for my sister, bringing the total number of people I support daily to fourteen. They all depend on me for everything: food, clean water, medicine, protection, and moral support.
The border crossings are closed, aid is nonexistent, and hunger is consuming our ninja bodies. We're not asking for much—just an opportunity, just a hand to help us endure.
I appeal to you from the bottom of my heart: Help me feed my body, care for all my bodily organs, and support those around me in this humanitarian disaster. Every donation, no matter how small, means life to us.
