Donate for funeral expenses for Melissa Tackett

Hi, my name is Melissa Tackett and I am raising money for my own funeral expenses. On July 20,2021 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. I was told that my prognosis was not good and that chemotherapy will only be giving me more time to live. The chemo will not destroy the cancer because it was so advanced. I completed my first round of chemo in March of 2022. But on December 25, 2022 I found out that my cancer was back and growing again. I have been receiving chemo however, the cancer has not been shrinking.

I raised my three children on my own and always put off getting a life insurance policy thinking that there was always more time to do it. I do not want to leave this burden with my family and they cannot afford this either. I wish to be cremated and have a funeral service at Brooklawn Funeral Home in Rocky Hill, CT and to be buried at Center Cemetery also in Rocky Hill, CT.
