Donate for Funeral Expenses for Cora Stewart

A daughter of New Orleans, Cora Stewart passed away on Friday, September 3rd at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop, Louisiana.

A survivor of the flood waters of Hurricane Katrina sixteen years ago, Cora had a fighting spirit, but on Thursday night she experienced a medical emergency following her evacuation from Saint Lukes Medical Center in Gretna to Bastrop, Louisiana, five hours north of New Orleans. 

On Friday morning she fell into a coma, and passed away shortly after noon in the presence of her daughter, Joanika Davis and grand daughters, Artisha and Artesha Davis.

Urgent support is needed to enable our family to make funeral arrangements and cover the cost of her burial.
