As some of you may know, I am now fully wheelchair bound, still suffering from multiple diagnoses, and in constant need of medical supplies. Over one year ago, my health started to decline out of nowhere and by December, I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, and IBS. By January, I started throwing up 20+ times a day and couldn’t even keep water down. Soon after, my legs started to become weak, which progressively declined. I lost feeling from my sternum to toes in March and was then diagnosed with Gillian Barre Syndrome (GBS).
Somehow, I developed necrotizing fasciitis, and in May, I underwent multiple surgeries to have parts of my body removed. This also led to a MRSA diagnosis, staph diagnosis and a need for at least 8 different blood transfusions as well as countless other procedures.
Today, I am wheelchair bound trying to learn how to walk again, with a catheter, colostomy bag, and wounds that are still not healed that require constant treatment.
During this, I lost a lot including my job and my house. I’m slowly getting better every day, but the journey to recovery feels like it’s barely begun.
I’m in constant need of gauze, gloves, abdominal pads, medical tape, liquid cleaning solution, and other daily necessities. As well as the need to see multiple doctors and specialists to make sure I am still on the right track with my progress.
Anything you can give would help tremendously, wether it is a money donation, an item from my Amazon wishlist, or even good thoughts/prayers sent this way to help me on my journey. I greatly appreciate any and all of it! Thank you.
