Elyse Rosaire Manla, or Lyly to her family, was born with Congenital Biliary Atresia, a rare and progressive liver condition. While initially doing well after her first surgery, her condition has suddenly worsened and she is now in need of a liver transplant at only 9 months old. She is currently hospitalized at Children's Hospital in LA awaiting additional testing and treatment.

Elyse is supported by her loving parents, Jay and Jamie, and 2 siblings. Both Jay and Jamie work at Kaiser San Diego; Jay as an Emergency Department tech, and Jamie as a nurse with the orthopedics department. They have dedicated their lives to raising not only Elyse, but Amery (6 years) and Kyler (4 years) who have been the most doting and loving siblings.

Elyse's parents, Jay and Jamie, are juggling Elyse's medical care, work, commuting between Los Angeles and San Diego, and raising their other 2 children. It is likely that Elyse will need a transplant in the next several weeks, and also very likely her father Jay will be the donor. Their family has a long road of recovery and healing ahead! Your support will help fund probable months of lost wages, temporary housing for out-of-county medical care, and caregiving costs.
