Hi all my name is CARYN CANLAS and I am the longtime partner of Elmer Pierce. Recently, Elmer has experienced some medical expenses. He fractured his heel bone and thought he had just sprained his ankle so by time he got an x-ray. The bone had been infected and gangrene had set in, and there was no saving the foot. It was a fast moving infection.. He does have a Medicaid and so far so good we haven’t seen any bills,. And this was the hardest thing for me to do, but I’m hoping everybody can look inside their self and even if you only give five or $10 it would be so appreciated. The one thing that is not covered by Medicaid is the ramp that is needed for him to get into the house Now we live in a rented house so we can’t put permanent ramp in but they do have portable ramps and the prices are extremely high anywhere for $599-$899 and this is the one thing that he has to have before they’ll let him out of rehab rehabilitation center and one thing that we just can’t afford right now. If you can’t give them, please just keep him in your prayers. That’s as good as gold .
