I’m Eden, a 23 year old Trans Man from Florida. With the recent challenges to gender affirming care I find the wish for surgery weighing heavy on my mind often now, something that is only pushed by the fact that I can no longer bind without pain, in no small part due to my job as a tattoo artist. With this in mind I fully believe that top surgery is not only a means of helping my mental health and becoming the person I’ve desperately wanted to see in the mirror for ages, but also a reach for my safety and security as the times change the world around me.

I plan do have my surgery down by Dr. Sasani in south Florida, someone I’ve seen two amazing results from in person, and many many more online with no infections in his patients since he opened his clinic over over 14 years ago. I had a consult with him at the end of 2022, and its clear to me he’s knowledgeable, and shows the utmost integrity and empathy while talking with patients. The deposit to retain my surgery date was $1000 though that may have changed since then, I’ll update this information if anything changes.

that being said, so long as I live in Florida, he’s the only surgeon I trust to do this procedure for me.

I’ve tried fundraising for my top surgery in the past, but due to a combination of factors ultimately stopped campaigning for a time. The amount needed here reflects what I had previously raised out of a total asked of about 11,000.
