Hello, my name is Erik Liu. On the morning of Oct 5th, we lost an amazing person, Jasa Duncan, to complications of childbirth. I am creating a fundraiser for her newborn son, Duncan.

Jasa had just begun the next chapter of her life, having given birth to the beautiful Duncan Alexander on September 19th, and was looking forward to watching him grow and showering him with as much love and affection as he could handle.

Jasa had a smile that could light up a room. She was known for her adventurous spirit, whether cliff diving in Jamaica or jumping out of airplanes thousands of feet in the air. She made everyone around her better and was unabashedly proud of who she was.

She was an avid supporter of the local music scene. Most Wednesdays, she could be found dancing stage right at Broadway Oyster Bar or catching any of her many friends' bands playing across the city. I really appreciate the outpouring of love and support and the memories everyone has shared of Jasa. I knew she touched so many lives, but the response has been truly incredible.
