Our friend, Don Waldo, had an accident that has left him with a serious brain injury. His recovery has been on again/off again... one step forward/two steps back. As is often the case, insurance only provides for limited time in the hospital. Soon, his wife, Leigh Ann, will be tasked with providing care for him at home, which she is not capable of doing without professional help. The out-of-pocket expenses that have already been incurred are far outside of the resources they have.
