David Villa's Kidney Transplant
Donation protected
Hello, I have created this gofundme account to raise funds for my husband David Villa's Kidney Transplant.
A little bit about my husband's story,
David had always been a healthy athlete. He loved to play soccer and baseball. At the age of 20 years old he had his first surgery. He was diagnosed with an inflammatory mass on his spine and had emergency cervical spine surgery. David had to learn how to walk all over again, and it took him 3 years to recover. After his recovery and 12 years of hospital visits for unexplained infections, migraine headaches, eye redness, body pain, unexplained weight loss, Anemia, and many more symptoms he was diagnosed with a rare form of ANCA Vasculitis which attacked his kidneys. Treatment consisted of Oral Chemotherapy , immunosuppressants, phosphate binders, anti malarial medications, and preventative medications. He was told he was going to start Dialysis in no more than 1 year, but God had other plans for him and Dialysis is not an option for my warrior husband as he continues to fight this Autoimmune Disease.
It has been 8 years since his diagnosis and David continues to provide for his family. He has a full time job, he has a part time detailing business, and he coaches our oldest daughter's 12U softball team. With the grace of God David has continued to push through and maintain a positive attitude, he is a great father to our 2 daughters, a great son, brother, brother in law, son in law, coach, and a wonderful husband.
He is now end stage renal failure and is in need of a kidney transplant. After extensive testing I have found out I am a match and will be donating a kidney. The kidney transplant will take place sometime next month which means we will both be off of work for a few months. I do not want David to be burdened by medical bills and lost wages, so I am asking for your help . Any donation will help and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and please keep us in your prayers!
