Corey Ryan was the victim of a senseless shooting at a BP gas station on Newcut Road on Sunday May 4, 2025 around 9 PM. He was shot four times in the back leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. The shooter is unknown to him and has yet to be identified. He is a loving young man who just turned 30 years old on April 8th. He is very close with his mother and now lives at home so that he can be cared for. The day of this senseless shooting, Corey was transported to UL Hospital ICU and has now been admitted into Frazier Rehab to learn how to navigate his new way of life. Corey has a long road ahead of him. All donations will help aid with the purchase of a van with wheelchair accessibility to get Corey to and from his rehab appointments as well as daily expenses to promote the best life possible. His mom Sandra Obryan has been a long time friend of our family and is a Christian woman. She needs all the help that she can possibly get.
