My name is Cooper and I am 3 years old, and I have a birth defect which is now causing me to experience extreme pain. The x-ray came back with the following:

1. Moderate degenerative disease of the right hip with hip dysplasia: These findings have progressed in comparison to the previous study and likely contribute to the reported right pelvic and gait abnormality. The possibility of concurrent right patellar instability may be considered. At present, there is no evidence of an aggressive bone lesion (such as osteomyelitis or neoplasia).

2. Thoracolumbar degenerative intervertebral disc disease: The narrowing of the intervertebral disc spaces is consistent with disc degeneration; however, this may be exacerbated by positioning/obliquity. Ultimately, cross-sectional imaging will be required to identify and localize a compressive spinal cord or spinal root lesion, if present. These findings do not exclude the possibility of other neurologic (infectious, inflammatory, degenerative or neoplastic) disease or soft tissue injury.

After all of this I had to also do an MRI today and The MRI performed today came back with that I am going to require a spine surgery, which is delicate and super expensive.

Those that know my mom (Nilda), knows she has a heart of gold and is always helping those in need and reaching out for others to donate and help and to make sure everyone has what they need. She takes the shirt off her back to make sure someone has a shirt on. This is a time where my mom who always likes helping others, does not like to ask for help herself. Therefore a good friend of ours which also happens to be one of my babysitters, wanted to make sure my mom was also helped in times when she is struggling as well. She in shock on the amount of money that this going to be and she is juggling a few things at the same time with her health, my dad's and then now to top it off, also me. She loves me very much and takes care of me and I know that this is taking a toll on her emotionally, mentally and economically. We would greatly appreciate any donations that can be given towards my surgery. Every little bit counts and I think that if all our friends and family along with those that may feel identified with my cause and can help, we can achieve this goal and if someone cannot give any amount of money, if you can at least assist with forwarding the link so that others can join in and help, I think we can make this happen.
