Coco is a sweet, loving boy who suddenly lost much of the use of his hind legs and is now in significant pain. What started as a normal day turned into an emergency visit to the vet, where it became clear that something serious is affecting his ability to stand, walk, and enjoy his usual happy life.

His veterinarian is still working to find the cause of Coco’s condition and has recommended further diagnostic testing, including an MRI, and possibly surgery. These next steps are critical to understanding what’s wrong and giving Coco the best chance to regain his mobility and live without pain.

Coco’s human, April Fleck, is doing everything she can for him, but as a working-class person living on a very limited income, she simply cannot cover these unexpected and overwhelming veterinary costs on her own. April is the kind of person who gives what she can to others, and now she is humbly asking for help from her community.
