Donate for Celia's Medical Care and Future

Hi, I’m Allison and this is my foster kitten Celia. I originally fostered Celia along with her siblings and mom, but quickly noticed that she was much smaller than the rest of the litter and was growing extremely slowly. When the rest of the group hit surgery weight to be adopted out, Celia was still just under 1 pound. Unfortunately, because she was so small and would need additional testing to figure out why she wasn’t growing, the shelter I originally fostered her through was no longer able to support her.

Luckily, my friend Emilie recently founded her own 501c3 nonprofit with a mission to save vulnerable animals exactly like Celia. She graciously allowed me to continue fostering Celia under her rescue, Emilie’s Foster Crew.

Yesterday, Celia went to the vet for blood work and X-rays, and we discovered that her heart is enlarged. The next step will be an ultrasound and from there we’ll figure out a treatment plan for her. Celia was also born without one of her feet and may require an amputation in the future to help her get around easier. All of this is on top of the usual foster kitten expenses like food, vaccines, supplies, and eventually a spay and microchipping.

We are fundraising to cover the medical expenses and ongoing care for Celia.
