Donate for Cecil Adams' Wheelchair Accessible Van

Hello, my name is Cecil Adams, and I am Home-bound. I am a 75-year-old retired Navy Veteran at 80% disabled.

I am the 106 persons with the rare CRMP5 neuropathy phenotype. This is a painful axonal asymmetric polyradiculoneuropathy that keep me from walking or standing long.

I am wheelchair bound and need a Van with a wheelchair lift. I submitted an application for an automobile with the Department of Veterans Affairs; I was denied.

We are working with Mobility Works, that specializes in the sale of wheelchair accessible vehicles. To purchase a certified preowned wheelchair accessible van, the average cost is between $45,000 and $60,000.

The funds will allow me to purchase the wheelchair accessible van, and I can leave the house and be driven by my caregiver to visit my children, grandchildren, attend meetings, and go to church.
