Hi, my name is Jose Flores and this is my story. Nine years ago I stood by my mother's side as she lost her hard fought battle to cancer. Today, I am fighting my own battle. Hearing the diagnosis first hand is frightening on its own, but hearing that it has returned is scarier than the first time around. Despite everything, I plan on facing this with a positive, stress-free attitude. The worst part about this situation is that I will not be able to work for the next 16-20 weeks. The money raised will be going to hospital bills and other necessary bills to ensure that I can stay afloat while I am down.
