Caleb was recently life-flighted from Boise, Idaho to Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT. Following a month-long journey with a perforated esophagus, and despite antibiotics, he suffered a mycotic aneurysm of the descending aorta. He went through a nine-hour surgery to repair his aorta using a graft from his aortic arch. I am blessed to say that the surgery was a success.

Unfortunately, the medical staff is struggling to maintain his blood pressure, and he has developed a clot in his jugular vein and multiple clots in his lungs. He also has another pleural effusion and a partially collapsed lung. He is currently spiking a fever, and the fear is the progression into sepsis. His family has foregone work to be with him in the hospital. Any amount of help to ensure that the family is able to stay with him is greatly appreciated.
