Our little family is in need of assistance through this hard time. We received news that our daughter, Brittney, is diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma known as Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor, DSRCT for short.

We were admitted to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and after multiple X-rays, CT scans, and labs, the doctors have come to the conclusion just days before her sixteenth birthday on October 10th, that the ongoing issue is cancer.

Brittney's care team is working hard to find answers with more tests, labs, and surgery to remove the fluid in her stomach and biopsy the masses riddled throughout her body.
