Donate for Brady's Heart Surgery and Care

Hey everyone!

A really good friend of mine had her sweet baby boy in February, and he was born with a very serious heart condition known as CCTGA. He is doing great and already had a procedure at 1 month old; he had a pulmonary band placed at CHOA. He will be having another procedure called a double switch in the near future (they're guessing around 8-10 months of age) in Texas! They will be flying out to Texas at the beginning of June to meet his new cardiologist/surgeon and begin their plans for his upcoming procedure, while still getting everything monitored locally on a biweekly basis (echos).

All this to say, bills add up SO quick, and he is still on sternal precautions from the first procedure and cannot/does not need to be in daycare to help keep him healthy! But Megan does carry the insurance through work, so she will inevitably have to return at some point, but the longer she can stay at home with him, the better it is for his health. With that being said, if you work for AdventHealth, please consider donating some of your paid time off if you cannot donate any money! She's already filled out the form to receive PTO donations, so talk with your direct supervisor about donating if you can. You can donate as little as 4 hours.

His stays, the traveling, and Megan being off work will all add up quickly, so anything helps. If you've ever been to Hamilton or AdventHealth Murray, you've probably met Megan and know just how wonderful of a human and nurse she is. As much as she gives to others, I would really love to see the community give back to her family! Thank you for reading and keeping sweet Brady in your thoughts as he overcomes these obstacles!
