I am writing on behalf of my friend William Forsche, who has worked as a special effects artist on some of my favorite horror films and who has always been incredibly generous in sharing his time and personal behind-the-scenes photos with fans and filmmakers who have been inspired to follow in his footsteps.

His loyal four-legged companion, Bonnie, has recently experienced some health issues that have required much of his attention. Bonnie has two cysts on her front legs, one is the size of a walnut, and the other is approximately the size of a lime. She has been to the vet and it looks like the cysts are benign but would require surgical removal. This is where it becomes difficult. She also has a heart murmur, making the process of anesthesia tricky.

That and the fact that the surgery costs approximately $1,200, which currently makes the process prohibitive for Bill at the moment.

Today is our friend Bill's birthday and his wish is for Bonnie to be better soon. She is such a good girl and such a good friend, and it would mean the world to get her the care she needs.
