We are coming together to support Bill Anderson and his family as he awaits a heart transplant. Bill is a Husband to Melanie - 30+ years, Father to Sarah - 28, Emily - 26, Kayla - 25, Billy - 23, Grandfather to Parker - almost 3.

This journey comes with many challenges, including medical expenses, travel costs, and everyday necessities. While Bill focuses on his health, we want to help ease the financial burden on his family.

As Melanie shared, "Everything seemed fine 3 weeks ago, or at least fine enough." Bill had a cough that began several months ago, and he has been told now it was known as a "Cardiac Cough." Three days after that, Bill began to feel weak, and over that weekend, he began to really struggle, having shortness of breath, climbing stairs, and feeling super fatigued. By the next morning, Bill was worse, and he was seen by his primary care physician. Bill was sent for a chest x-ray and labs. Soon after that, he was sent to the ER. Bill was then admitted. Three days later, Bill was transported by ambulance to Washington Hospital Center in DC for bypass surgery. Bill received the news that his heart tissue was not viable for bypass surgery as it would not take. A stent was not recommended either. Three days later, Bill was told his heart was too damaged and that the cardiologist team was now looking at LVAD or a heart transplant. Currently, Bill is at Washington Hospital Center in DC awaiting a heart transplant. He will be there until he receives a heart.
