My words aren't very eloquent, my head is swimming with anticipatory grief, and many people have asked how they can help during this time. It’s now occurring to me that we’ll need help covering Mom’s care and medical expenses.

If you feel so inclined, your donation will help specifically with: Mom's cremation will be $4000; what we currently owe for her caregivers from Senior Promise Solutions is $12,000, with an expected $500 on the next bill (we really like this caregiver agency, by the way). In addition, Medicare covers 20 days of skilled nursing, so we still owe $2,370 from her stay there.
