Dear friends and family, most of you know that we are about to have a baby!

About 2 months ago, we found out that baby Lucas (who is due October 1st via c-section) will need heart surgery at some point after he is born. There are many unknowns at this point, and we don’t know when the surgery will happen. It will depend on his condition and how strong his other organs are. Potentially, he won’t have the surgery until a few months after he is born.

We have set up this GoFundMe account because we hope to raise $20,000 to cover the costs that our insurance won’t. We cherish your prayers and appeal to your generosity as we navigate unknown territory.
