On November 14th, baby K had to come into the world via c-section after multiple failed rounds of induction due to pre-eclampsia. Thanks to his mommy’s swift realization something seemed off, the doctor learned that our sweet baby wasn’t breathing correctly.
During examination, the team quickly realized he needed more help than what they could provide, so a medical transport was initiated to happen as soon as he was stable enough to move. While his team worked hard to stabilize him, his mommy’s team worked hard to get her recovery rolling. When the time came for baby to go, mommy had to stay behind because she had just had major surgery. So his other momma loaded up with nana in tow, and away they went so he wouldn’t be alone.
Once at his new home away from home, baby K has undergone a lot of procedures, blood draws, and things. Now he lays peacefully in his cot on a ventilator to give his little body time to recover and his lungs a chance to heal and develop more. With that being said, both of his mommas are having a hard time. And with this kind of stuff, nobody can leave for work. So I’m here to ask for help—because they won’t. Unfortunately, the bills don’t stop coming due.
So, if anybody would like to help with the costs of bills, food for the mommas, or anything, please consider donating. And if you’re unable to donate, please pray for a heroic recovery for both mommas and baby. He’s got a long road.
