I am Dr Sofian Diab, a family doctor 72 years old resident of Gaza and a father of four sons: Abdallah (37), Ashraf (36), Fouad (32), and Amjad (32).

Previously, my family and I lived in tranquility, supported by a modest income from my private medical clinic and my son's dental practice in Gaza City. However, everything changed after October 7th, 2023, when we lost all our possessions, including our clinics in north Gaza and two apartments in Tal Hawa, and Gaza City. These properties were set ablaze and destroyed.

Thankfully, we were evacuated from Gaza to Egypt with the invaluable assistance of a close friend from Seattle, USA, who wishes to remain anonymous for privacy reasons. We are immensely grateful for her support, as she saved our lives.

Currently, we find ourselves in Egypt without any means of income due to our lack of residency or work permits. Consequently, I am reaching out to the compassionate individuals across the globe, seeking support and generous assistance to alleviate our financial crisis until we can return to our homeland.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated and would enable us to meet our essential expenses, including bills, food, medical care, and other necessities. Every contribution, regardless of its size, will significantly impact our physical and mental well-being.
