Donate for Anthony Rolle's Cancer Treatment

Hello everyone. I hope that this appeal finds you all well.

By way of introduction, my name is Chantel Dugars (née Rolle), of Cambridge, Maryland, by way of Nassau, Bahamas. I am the elder sister of Anthony Rolle, also of Nassau.

On Anthony's behalf, I'm appealing to your sense of generosity and embarking on a medical fundraising drive which will enable Anthony to begin radiation therapy in the immediate future.

Anthony has been receiving chemotherapy for the past year for what began as an abnormal lesion on his left elbow. The diagnosis has been confirmed as Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma.

Unfortunately, his condition has been elevated, and now, instead of the chemotherapy which he has been receiving, he has now been prescribed a course of radiation treatment to target the cancer.

Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL) is a rare subtype of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL), a group of blood cancers that affect white blood cells and cause them to grow out of control. These cells are a part of the immune system and may be found in the lymph nodes, skin, soft tissue, lungs, or liver.

The cost of the new treatment is cost-prohibitive for Anthony and therefore requires that we come to you-our family and friends to ask for your financial assistance to defray the cost.

The total cost of the radiation therapy is $16,500, with a required deposit of $9,500, which must be paid before he can begin treatments.

Any assistance provided to aid in this endeavor would be greatly appreciated.
