I'm starting this fundraiser to raise funds for a new wheelchair for my brother-in-law. After 5 years, he is finally able to get a new one, and even with insurance, they still have to pay almost $5000 out of pocket. His current chair has major electrical issues, and the backrest keeps breaking. My late husband (his brother) used to help with his wheelchair repairs to help save money, and now he's no longer around to. The new chair will be better fitted for him, be more supportive, better prevent pressure injuries, and have new features that will allow him to have more independence in his home.

They have applied for grants and talked to many organizations trying to get assistance and have been unsuccessful. They are on a limited income, and his wife stays home to care for him and their daughter. Any help would be much appreciated.
