Donate for Abby Holcomb's Surgery and Recovery

My name is Susie DePoy Holcomb and I'm starting this GoFundme page for my son, Shane Holcomb, and his wife Abby. As most of you know, Shane and Abby moved to Costa Rica in May of 2022 to start the ministry of Youth-Reach Costa Rica. Abby is scheduled to have surgery Sept. 5th, in Costa Rica, and unfortunately the insurance policy they purchased does not provide coverage for the surgery.

Abby needs a hysterectomy, as well as repair for her prolapsed bladder and hernia, and has been hemorrhaging for several months now. This, of course, affects her energy levels and ability to do all that she does while she is anemic, weak and lethargic. As most of you know, they have three children, Solomon, Jonathan and Julia. Jonathan has special needs and requires constant supervision. Also, Abby is very involved in their ministry and runs her private practice as a Marriage & Family Therapist.

They have already had a couple of generous donations, but still need another $8,500 to cover the hospital stay, anesthesia, the three surgeons (Gynecologist, Urologist and General Surgeon, as well as the recovery.
