Sarah's spouse, Abbasse, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4/metastatic pancreatic cancer. Their family had been planning a trip to Senegal this winter so that Abbasse can visit the village where he was born and see his family who still reside there.

Given this recent diagnosis, they have decided to move the trip to a sooner time and are hoping to leave on November 18, 2025. The hope is that by moving the trip up, Abbasse will find it easier to travel and spend time with his loved ones. Additionally, Abbasse desires to have at least one more college visit with their son, Talla, and this will be a part of their planned travel.

Any amount would help to defray the cost. This is one way their community can help, as they navigate this new diagnosis together.
