I’m helping my uncle Belal Ammar and his family to escape from Gaza.

Hello,

My name is Belal Ghaleb Ammar and I’m from Gaza City. I am married with four children. We lived a comfortable life, but with the start of the war, everything turned upside down.

We had a large house, a 200-square-meter apartment in a building with four floors, but unfortunately, it was completely destroyed by airstrikes in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood of the city.

Our entire house was bombed and nothing was left, not even our precious memories and those of our children, in this house we built with our sweat and toil over the years, vanished in an instant. Sadly, I have lost 38 relatives so far in this war. May Allah have mercy on them all.

Ten days after the war started, we fled and moved multiple times between the south and central areas of Gaza to escape the bombing and find a safe place.

I also had a mobile phone shop for rent in Gaza, which unfortunately was looted.

I have had no income since the beginning of the war, now entering its sixth month.

Today 03/04/204, I received pictures of my shop, which is the source of income for me and my family. My shop is completely destroyed and all of its contents lost.

Even the school where my wife works as a teacher was bombed, and since it was a private school, she hasn’t received her monthly salary during the war.

We are exhausted and worn out by the war, living a very difficult life under the bombardment and fear of rockets.

My youngest son, Hadi, who is four years old, has hearing impairment in both ears and wears a hearing aid. He has been suffering since the beginning of the war due to the inefficiency of the hearing aid, as it needs maintenance, programming, and rehabilitation. Additionally, he needs speech therapy, but unfortunately, life and services have stopped in all of Gaza and even batteries for the hearing aid are not available. My son's hearing could stop at any moment.

We are afraid of our children and afraid that something might happen to them. The situation is beyond description.

Traveling from Gaza has become the only solution for us to save ourselves and seek work outside Gaza, schools for our children, and a future for us as well.

Unfortunately, the cost of traveling is very high and after losing everything, I don’t have the needed funds.

We are requesting financial support to compensate for what we have lost in order to cover the cost of travel so that we can live and ensure our children continue their education.

We are living a very difficult life in Gaza. We are struggling daily to secure our rights and the rights of our children to live safely and peacefully. We want a better future for our children.

We are civilians with no involvement in political matters. We just want to live safely and dignified lives, away from the sounds of bombing and explosions.
